HVA Safety Management System
From 1 August 2026, new heavy vehicle accreditation sits under the Heavy Vehicle Accreditation (HVA) scheme. Operators need a Safety Management System that meets the SMS Standard, not a recycled NHVAS folder. CMG builds that system into the operation, then prepares the evidence for an independent NHVR-approved auditor.

Important: Accreditation and documented systems support due diligence. They do not transfer or remove duties under the Heavy Vehicle National Law. Official HVA audits must be completed by an NHVR-approved auditor independent of the system author. CMG builds and implements the system; it does not conduct official HVA scheme audits.
